Diese spanische Studie hatte das Ziel, Kosmetikbestandteile durch ein spezielles Messverfahren ausfindig zu machen, welche die Verpackungen auflösen. Einige Bestandteile, die in Parfüms oder als Fixierer eingesetzt werden, wurden ermittelt. Phenoxy Ethanol, Beta-linalool, Menthol und P-propenylanisole lösten das Innere (Polyethylen) von Kosmetikverpackungen (Probesachets) an. Phenoxy Ethanol zeigte dabei den aggressivsten Effekt.
Das Messverfahren zeigte sich als geeignet, aggressive Bestandteile in Kosmetikprodukten zu identifizieren, bzw. vorab zu klären, welche Produkte zu problematisch sind, um sie in Probesachets zu verpacken.
