Amalgam ist ab 01.Januar.2008 in Norwegen gesetzlich verboten.
In Pressemitteilung steht noch das Amalgam in Schweden auch bald verboten wird.

EU-weites Amalgamverbot wäre angesagt.

Es ist jetzt amtlich, ab Ende 2011 besteht EU-weit Quecksilberexportverbot. Das könnte eine Vorstufe für ein Amalgamverbot sein.

EU competitiveness ministers confirmed on Thursday that mercury exports from the bloc will end by March 2011. The ministers rubber-stamped a political deal on the ban reached earlier this year (EED 15/05/08 <http://www.endseuropedaily.com/25421> ). Waste mercury from the chlorine and other industries will have to be safely stored. But campaign group Healthcare without harm (HCWH) insisted the EU must also extend an imminent ban on some mercury-containing devices, claiming that its legislation lags behind that of the US (EED 03/10/07)

na das heißt ja nur das die eu kein Hg mehr exportieren darf von importieren steht da nichts und der hauptverbraucher von Hg ist die Energiespar-, Leuchstofflampen-Industrie. ohne Hg gehts es nicht auch die bunten Neonreklamen benötigen alle bis auf rot Hg in den Rohren.
