Monitor - Glyphosat und die “Monsanto Papers”

Glyphosat wurde von der EU - Kommision für weitere 5 Jahre zugelassen. Trotz gegenteiliger Meinung des Bundesumweltamtes hat der CDU/CSU - Landwirtschaftsminister Schmidt es ermöglicht!

Eine wichtige Rolle spielen auch Studien des deutschen Toxikologen Prof. Dr. Helmut Greim, der dafür Geld von Monsanto erhalten haben soll. Bereits 2016 zeigte MONITOR, dass Greims Expertisen immer wieder eine große Nähe zu Industrie und Verbänden aufweisen – nicht nur bei Glyphosat.

Die Monsanto Papers sind geheime, interne Dokumente, die nun dank über 10.000 Bäuerinnen und Bauern veröffentlicht wurden. Sie verklagen Monsanto, da der Unkrautvernichter Glyphosat bei ihnen die Non-Hodgkins Lymphom genannte Krebsart verursacht haben soll. Die Dokumente zeigen die verschiedenen Strategien und Taktiken, die Monsanto nutzt, um die Zulassung seines giftigen Verkaufsschlagers RoundUp sicherzustellen – trotz der klaren Gefahren für Mensch und Umwelt.
