The primary therapeutic needs are as follows:
1. Earlier diagnosis and beginning of treatment (mean of duration of illness when therapy begins is 5-10 years! [5,12])
2. Spreading of information about MCS in health professionals and population in order to allow for point 1.
3. Creating a specific diagnostic code included in ICD-10 and DRG, other than T78.40 (=other allergies and intolerances), allowing for the severe forms of MCS and thereby facilitate treatment and reimbursement for treatment.
