Abstract:

The Environmental Worry Index (EWI) (Hodapp 1996) aims at considering its influence on observed associations concerning reported complaints and objective exposure. This study aimed: a) at introducing a cut-off-value for separating subjects with high EW from those who lay within the bounds of the statistical reference values; and b) at identifying and characterizing subjects with high EW regarding health parameters, sleep quality and personality factors.
